Welcome to Golden Cleaning Services. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Overview
Golden Cleaning Services provides residential and commercial cleaning solutions across Maine. We provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise requested by the client.
2. Booking & Estimates
- All online estimates are non-binding until a walkthrough or first service is completed.
- We reserve the right to adjust the final price if the condition of the property differs significantly from the description provided during booking.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- 48-Hour Notice: We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the scheduled time may be subject to a 50% service fee.
- Same-Day Cancellation: Cancellations made on the day of service or “lock-outs” (where our team cannot access the property) will be charged at 100% of the service rate.
4. Access to Property
The client is responsible for providing access to the property. This can be via a hidden key, keypad code, or being present to let the team in. If we cannot enter the property within 15 minutes of our arrival time, it will be considered a lock-out.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior invoicing arrangements have been made.
- We accept [Credit Cards/Online Payments/Checks]. A convenience fee may apply to certain payment methods.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our “Golden Standard.” If you are not satisfied with any area we have cleaned, please notify us within 24 hours. We will return to re-clean the area of concern at no additional cost. We do not offer refunds.
7. Liability & Insurance
- Golden Cleaning Services is fully insured and bonded.
- Breakage/Damage: While we treat your home with extreme care, accidents can happen. We will report any damage immediately. Our liability for any single item is limited to the actual replacement value or the cost of the service, whichever is lower.
- Exclusions: We do not clean biohazards (mold, blood, bodily fluids), heavy hoarding conditions, or areas unreachable by a 2-step ladder.
8. Safety & Environment
To ensure the safety of our team:
- Utilities: The client must provide running water and electricity.
- Climate Control: The property must be kept at a reasonable temperature.
- Pets: Please secure any aggressive pets. We are not responsible for pets escaping the property during entry/exit.
9. Non-Solicitation
Clients agree not to hire any current or past employees of Golden Cleaning Services for private work outside of our agency for a period of 12 months following their last service.
10. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy. Any personal information collected (Name, Address, Payment Info) is used strictly for service coordination and billing and will never be sold to third parties.
